Golf Association of Moldova was founded in 1995. Moldova can boast with the golf academy Merops Park Golf Club, which is a gated and guarded territory 24 hours a day with an exclusive entry for golf members and residents of the golf club.

The course is a picturesque quiet place, affording beautiful views over the valley, located at an altitude of 150 meters above sea level. The course is at close proximity to the airport and has a lake with a wide range of biodiversity.
