Road to WAGC Final

The tournament series is not only a sporting highlight, but has also made a name for itself in the community as a social event.

More than 3,000 participants every year and more than 8,600 tournament starts at around 200 tournaments per year speak for themselves. The season culminates in the four Conference Finals (divided into the regions East, South, Central and West) and the big Austrian Final, where the coveted seven tickets for the WAGC World Final are played out, with around 100 participants and a big players party before the tournament day.

They all have the goal of earning one of the prestigious places in Team Austria to represent Austria with the national eagle on their chest at an international tournament of this magnitude.

An outstanding development by renowned architect Kyle Phillips, architect of the incredible Kingsbarns in Scotland , has taken place in Eichenheim , opened in 2000. The captivating surroundings mixed with different challenges on each hole make this course extra special. Another older course, Murhof Frohnleiten – opened in 1963, still has the reputation of being Austria’s most prestigious place to play golf.
